A simplified version of the Tear Film and Ocular Surface (TFOS) Society’s contact lens discomfort classification system may enable more accurate step-by-step classification and better inform both the wearer and the clinician, according to an investigation published in Contact Lens & Anterior Eye. The study authors suggest condensing the 5 steps into 3 steps that specifically address contact lens wearing time.
